The games are specifically designed in response to the latest research to promote number sense and develop early mathematical thinking through:

• tactile resources which encourage children to visualise numbers

• making numbers and exploring patterns

• working flexibly and efficiently with numbers

• thereby developing number skills and confidence with numbers

• making connections and discoveries

• playing either creative; two player chance or strategy based games.

The games progress in difficulty, with the early games suitable for aged 4+, and the final game best suited for children aged 8 upwards. Games last approximately 10 minutes and can be played as often as you wish, providing a way to practice maths, with children having such fun they don't realising how much maths they are doing!
